Tatiana Ragonesi

Functional Ceramics Award
Painting, Textiles, Ceramics, Indigenous Carving & Toolmaking
Ragonesi is a multimedia artist who explores absence through personal and cultural lenses. They produce collages of experiences as a first-generation Canadian of Taiwanese and Italian heritage. Her work with children has allowed for reflection on childhood while re-learning playful, unburdened spontaneity. Ragonesi resides on unceded territories taken from many Indigenous Nations. Learning from her community, they hope to transition their practice from absence to that of regrowth.
