Drawing Award
Drawing, Painting, Print Media, Sculpture
Kit Chen is an emerging artist from Hong Kong, currently based in Vancouver. Their work explores themes such as the beauty of the mundane, self-identity, and the absurdity of life, while reflecting a deep passion for drawing and illustration. "There is something magical about flat surfaces; they allow me to simplify the chaotic, overwhelming ocean inside my mind. They turn that unknown, indescribable void into something visible-something I can share with others."
