María Martín Galván

María Martín is an artist born and raised in Mexico who currently resides on the West Coast of British Columbia, Canada on the unceded Coast Salish territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm, Sḵwx̱wú7mesh and səl hílwətaʔɬ people. María started her visual art practice after enrolling in the Fine Arts program at Langara College in 2022. Since then, she´s been experimenting with different techniques and practices, focusing on painting, media, drawing and performance art.
